GAME PLAN FOR CHANGE

Only through drastic change can we make the county take change and also allow for youth to be involved in our county politics. A Youthful change to the 21st Century is necessary for this

Problems

Currently our state committee is doing a great job however there are a few things I feel has been lost. I do not blame them because it is the simple fact that they have not lived in the new generation of politics.

Through the time working for Vic Stabile, gathering petition signatures, I found that one of the biggest concerns from the people of Beaver County was that they feel their voices are not heard.

We also must hold state committee accountable for petition circulating. This is a job which each member should be doing. Last year only the Beaver County Young Republicans Circulated for Stabile.

STRATEGY TO FIX ISSUES

Today living in the computer days these issues are very easy to fix. And these fixes will mostly be done through Facebook, Email, and Twitter.

To allow for better communication I vow to set up a mailing list informing the public of the issues at hand. These emails would go out once a month informing the public of state committee issues as well as conservative groups issues. As many issues come up while at state committee I would also prepare an email on the friday night before and welcome comments.

When it comes to petitions I feel the state committee members should be held accountable to getting at least two thirds of the states goal for the county. For this we would get the county goal from the state and then divide that between the committee members.

RESULTS

I can not do all of this myself and it will take full cooperation from the other 2 members of the state committee, as well as the chair of the county. But once these changes are made, there will be much progress.

Facebook, Twitter, and the mailing list will bring much better communication to be had between state committee and our constituants. This will also allow for the voices of our constituants to be heard.

The accountability of our state committee members for 2/3 of th county's petition signitures will also allow for less of a burdon to be placed on the county organization. This will free up volunteers, and alow for our candidates in the county to get the signatures they need in presidential, as well as gubatorial years.
